Insurance pay-outs are triggered by pre-defined thresholds for rainfall and soil moisture, enabling rapid compensation within days of the disaster. Funds are disbursed directly to farmers’ accounts and used to support adaptive farming practices, such as drought-resistant crops and water-efficient irrigation. This approach strengthens financial security, promotes sustainable agriculture and empowers women to lead climate-resilient farming communities.
